Jean Coles
Founder and Principal
As the founder and principal of Harris Rupert, Jean boasts more than a decade of experience in Human Resources and Business Support providing strategic advice to employers on a full range of topics. Her core areas of practice include compensation reviews; diversity, equity and inclusion; recruitment support and onboarding; HR policies and handbooks; workplace investigations and organizational development and change management.
Jean holds a Bachelor of Administration and Commercial Studies from the University of Western and her Masters in Business Administration from Norwich University. She is passionate about providing her clients with proactive advice designed maximize employee engagement and boost their bottom-line performance. She is skilled in performance management, professional development, training and workshops. Jean is also a Professor at the Fanshawe College’s Lawrence Kinlin School of Business in the Human Resources Management Program. Jean has owned and operated three franchises in London Ontario since 2012 and knows a thing or two about running a small business, surviving the pandemic and onboarding and training team members.
In addition to her work, Jean is a member of various professional organizations and community service associations. She is a past Board Member at the Hyde Park Business Improvement Association, Board Member at the Community Futures Middlesex - The Business Help Centre, Board Member at the Ilderton and Area Business Association and sits on the board of the Thames Valley District School Board’s Parent Involvement Committee.
